The XP600 Printhead is an original Epson Micro-Piezo printhead (part number F173050), commonly referred to as DX11, designed for cost-effective digital printing in desktop and small-format machines. It features 1080 nozzles arranged in 6 rows (180 nozzles per row) with a nozzle resolution of 180 npi per row and 360 npi over 2 rows, enabling printing resolutions up to 1440 dpi or optimized modes equivalent to 5760 x 1440 dpi for sharp text, detailed graphics, and smooth color gradients. Supporting variable droplet sizes from 3.5 pl to 35 pl, it delivers fine details, photographic quality, and solid color fills suitable for professional applications. Compatible with 4-color or 6-color (CMYK + LcLm) setups and inks including eco-solvent, sublimation, DTF pigment, and mild solvent, it handles viscosities around 3-5 mPa·s and jetting frequencies up to 40-50 kHz. Its compact size of approximately 69.1 x 59.4 x 35.6 mm and lightweight design make it easy to integrate into affordable printers. Popular in budget DTF, sublimation, and signage setups, the XP600 offers a good balance of price, speed, and durability for small to medium production volumes with consistent jetting and low failure rates when properly maintained.
